HOMESocial suite uses AI to generate an Instagram post that is coherent with an email campaign, without leaving the email builder. Generate a Draft Instagram post for an email campaign that you are working on, or for an email campaign that you have previously sent with a click of a button.
It draws on your email campaign’s template including the subject and CTAs to generate a Draft Instagram post. You can view and edit the Draft Instagram post before actually publishing it.
Where to find Instagram
- On the left-hand side of the Campaigns tab.
- In the email builder, after you select your template for your email campaign.
- In the context menu of a Draft or Sent email campaign.
Generate an image for your Instagram post
1. Open an existing Draft email campaign that is ready to send.
2. Click Generate and then Create. Alternatively, find an email campaign that you have previously sent and select 'Generate social post' from the context menu.
3. Create will then generate your image in under a minute, but you don't have to wait, you can minimise the generation panel and continue working, but don’t navigate away from the email campaign builder. We'll let you know when it's ready. Watch the Instagram status at the bottom of the Build panel, then choose Open to see the Draft.
4. Review the image, the caption, and the hash tags and make changes as necessary
5. Connect your Instagram Business or Creator account
6. Prepare to Publish, and Publish when you are ready
Make changes to your image
If the image is close but not quite right, you can generate another Draft by going back into the same email campaign. Alternatively, you can upload your own image on the Draft Instagram post.
Availability
Instagram is available to eligible Campaign Monitor customers. Availability and usage limits depend on your account type and plan.
Important note about AI-generated content
Campaign material generated with AI may contain mistakes. The material aims to preserve your brand identity, but as with any AI-generated content, it can occasionally get things wrong.
Always review all content before sending to ensure the content reads naturally and correctly represents your brand, tone, and intent.
Disconnecting your Instagram Account
